Title: CX - CXi
Post by: johnp on February 06, 2013, 12:28:52 AM
Anyone know if there is a true hardware difference between the 3300 and 200?

I have been told by tech support that purely hardware wise, they are virtually identical, however, the firmware and low-level code in the various pieces of hardware are different and not interchangeable or even capable of being "flashed" between the two platforms. I tested this with an Analog Main Board a few years back... lets just say it was sent back as "Bad out of box" and leave it at that.

Don't think so other then the obvious ( L2 switch ). No point in their being hardware differences for Mitel. Would just mean more parts to stock and higher manufacturing costs.

The analog boards are the same part and should be interchangable.
