I have setup a load of call flows and selected UK english from the actions,set prompt
but when i dial into call director to record the menus and messages needed it also talks back to me in USA english
any ideas i have never had this on Nupoint standalone only MAS

I thought they were always in American, MAS and standalone.
Could be wrong though.
Something i just accept.

If the language has been set to proper (UK) English then the prompts should be in that language.
It's a little unclear. Is this on standalone or MAS integrated?

its in mas
all other prompts are in UK english just call director
i have installed Nupoint stand alone last week and setup is the same apart from the prompts are in UK english

Have you set the language on the line group as well as the MSL Applications suite language?

all over parts of MAS including MCA are in Uk english just call director

What version of Mas and nupoint are you running?
