Extension is busy and if someone dials that extension number the button starts flashing? If the phone was free that this is correct behaviour.

Hi,

Yes, but when user pick up the phone, the flash indicator will gone. and the button will not show red in solid....so that user didnt know when her boss finished the call...

Have you checked these in system options?

(Optional) At both the local switch and remote switch(es)

In the System Options form, enable the following if required:

BLF - Busy Indication Based on Set Enabled

BLF - CFA Indication Based on Set Enabled

Looking a bit into this, have you set the key to secreterial...if so i don't think it gives a busy indication like a normal BLF key ,as, if the secretary tries to get the boss using the key it gives a busy tone then releases automatically. Look at the help for Direct Station Select.
