Title: NuPoint - playing the wrong greeting
Post by: Hershel on January 03, 2013, 03:21:55 PM
I have a intermittent problem withe a client using MCD on a 3300 with NuPoint (on MAS) as their voicemail.

Users accesses their personal voicemail, via a one touch key pointed to the voicemail hunt group.  They are prompted to enter their password.  Once they have entered their password they hear the recorded greeting for x300, after it plays they are inside their mailbox and can listen to their messages.  x300 is the attendant mailbox.

Again this doesn't happen every time only intermittent but it does happen from pretty much every phone on the system.

Note: I have verified the the MWI port is set to DND - Permanent

FCOS bit 043 is "Receive message of the day"
You use this when you want people to hear a specific message after they log in.
I think it only plays the first time you log in for the day.
When you don't need them to hear it you can just erase the msg.

Here's a list of all the NuPoint FCOS bit. (http://www.mitelforums.com/articles/nupoint/nupoint_fcos-bits.php)
