Title: Mitel 8528
Post by: Someone on December 28, 2012, 11:39:01 AM
Hi.

I have a very basic question. I have been given a Mitel 8528 single handset without a power supply. If I take it home and plug it into my BT socket will it work like a normal phone? If anyone can help that would be great I then know whether to purchase the power supply for it.

The 8528 is a digital phone for use with the Mitel 5000 HX cabinet. No, you will not be able to take it home and use it with your landline. It gets power directly from the 5000 HX, so there is no external power supply for it.
