Title: RAD password reset query

Hi,

we have a rad greeting setup on our phone system and i've tried to login to the administrator voicemail mailbox to change this RAD but it asks me for the mailbox password. I've tried what i documented but it doesnt like this. How in the console can i change this pin to gain access?

DEpends on your software level and what the system is of course.

Hi,

Sorry i was so vague. Its a Mitel 3300 system. The active software version is 9.0.2.18

You need to dial the administrator mailbox (999) in case your number plan is 3 digits. Or 9999 in case of digits and so on. When logged in choose option 8 and followed by option 1. After this you just enter the port number that you want to speak in.

The default PIN of the manager is 6483. But to avoid fraud you should always change all the levels of the administrator mailbox.

If it is not the default PIN, then you can retrieve it from the backup file.
Here is where you can find it (3300_icp\vmail\temp\db\backup\vmail\0000PARM.BIN).
