Hello,
We currently have an SX-200, any outbound calls shows up on the caller ID as private or unkown. Is there a way we can unblock the caller ID? Can we program to dial to unblock callerID? Verizon told us it would cost $600 to change the caller ID because we need to convert to a PRI line instead of a DS0. I think something is fishy but not sure. Any ideas would be great.
Thanks

If you are using a DSO then Verizon is correct. You need a PRI. No way to put out caller ID.
But...
Having said that. Verizon should be putting out a default caller ID. Any call made from your DSO should at least show your billing number.

Yeah, make sure you've not asked your carrier to block your calling name or have you as unlisted. You should be sending default billing number and your billing name, even without a PRI. You only need a PRI to selectively send your own caller id (like each station's DID).
