Title: Problem with External Call Forwarding
Post by: mitelintheblood on November 23, 2012, 10:02:25 AM
Sx200 LW19 with Mitel Express Mail. I set an extention with external call forwarding and set a single digit mailbox in vm to dial this extention, but calls are routed to the console as illegal then if I transfer to that extention from console the call goes where it is intended. also internal calls to that extention route correctly. Its only outside calls routed through vm to that ext. that go to console.  What I want is someone calls into vm/aa and dials 7 which is routed to ext 444 has external call forwarding set to dial a toll free number What am I missing?

Check your VM ports COR and Tenent restrictions, this is the most likely culprit.
