Title: Silent monitoring 3 way monitoring
Post by: arthurmo on October 09, 2012, 06:35:40 AM
Hello, I have a cluster of ISS mcd5.0 running using sip lines. When a supervisor wishes to listen into the agent they enter the code and start monitoring the call. If the agent then puts the internal call on hold and then dials out  to an external number the monitoring supervisor stays with the internal call. If they clear down the monitor and launch it again they get silence until the agent returns to the internal call. Has anyone come across this and have any ideas? I have been looking into COS options for both the users and trunks but haven't hit on a winning combination yet.

I suspect that the supervisor can only monitor the prime line.
I don't think you can monitor non-prime lines.

Monitoring of non-prime lines is supposed to be delivered in MCD 6

I thought I heard December-ish.   Can't think of where I heard that though.
