Hello.
Has anyone had any problems with the 5312 telephones rebooting when the user selects option "D" Key 3 to delete a message.
We have had several failures across different sites, luckily these have been replaced under warranty.

Can't say that I have heard of that one. Is it specific to a certain version of MCD/Firmware?
-
Can't say I have heard of this one either, I can tell you that I have thousands of these sets out there on varied systems and software releases and if it was happening customers would report it...
What system and software release? Only 5312's?
-
Can't say I've ever heard of this. This is a new one on me.
Are you using the embedded VM?
I've seen something similar with 5330/5340 phones when trying to transfer a call. A wireshark sniff showed an ICMP redirect.
Turning off ICMP redirect in the cisco switches resolved.

Thanks your all your replies.
The problem has happened on various 3300 systems ( 2 x CXI II's & 1 MXE II) all on V4.2, but also on our test system V5.
The fault is not only connected to the voice mail(embedded) but also when calling out the 2nd digit was a "3" then phone rebooted.
I also like the help these forums provide, have worked on Mitel's since 1988 and you think you know everything until you read these forums.
