Hello. I'm fairly new to the Mitel system and need to hook up a Mediatrix 4402 on our 3300 ICP to use with a fax line. I have hooked up a Mediatrix 1102 before, but the 4402 has a different web gui and I do not know how to set it up the same. Has anyone set one of these up before?
Also, is there a better SIP device to use for a fax machine?
Thanks in advance!

We recently had some pretty good luck with Grandstream 286 ATA but I'm let to understand that particular ATA has been MD and superseded with a newer model.
Here's the link to the Grandstream analog adapters (http://www.grandstream.com/index.php/products/ip-voice-telephony/consumer-analog-telephone-adaptors) (Edit: This link has now expired)
But I think you can still get the 286 from Amazon (http://amzn.to/2bt76sk).

And they use a SIP license? Is there a step-by-step setup anywhere?

They do use a SIP license.
I don't have a step by step set up guide but it's pretty simple.
The 1st one I set it took less than 15 min from the time I opened the box.

Cool. I will order one and give it a shot.

I tend to use the Linksys/Cisco ATA's. When it was branded as Linksys the PAP2T was the choice, but they have retired that product, and also the brand, so there is a Cisco replacement now that is equivalent and so far has been stable. Possibly it just takes a couple more minutes to configure, but that isn't a huge deal.
YMMV though on what I have experienced as things are different here down under than what you get in NA.

We use the Multi-Tech MultiVOIP line of SIP gateways with the 3300, had very good luck with them, although I will be honest and say we have never used them for faxing. On our hosted side of the house (Broadsoft SIP server), they use Audiocodes MP-112/114/118 gateways with really good success! We tried using the Grandstream HT-502 for fax applications but had hit and miss luck with them, if I was going to fax I would definitely go Audiocodes.
Attached is Mitel's latest SIP interop guide, you will notice few SIP Gateways that have been certified to work for faxing (T.38) with the 3300, Audiocodes being one of them. Hope it helps!

We use LINKSYS PAP2T now called CISCO SPA112.
We have constructed an installation guide (attached) that may help folks out.
