Title: Connect Cisco 7942 with SIP to Mitel 3300
Post by: trueblue on June 24, 2012, 07:45:48 PM
Hi all,

I am trying to connect a Cisco 7942 via SIP to a Mitel 3300 (MCD5.0SP1) but im having a few problems.

I have the user setup on the 3300 and have tested this using the 3cx SIP phone and also a Mitel 5312 in SIP so that bit is fine.

Im having trouble programming the Cisco phone, I have tried to change the SEP(MAC ADDRESS).xml file and the XMLDefault.cnf file and can see that the user is has been placed against the Line1 as hoped, i have also changed the Proxy server to be the Mitel 3300 IP address but i cant get it to connect to the Mitel 3300 even with the SIP logs running on the 3300 i cant see it even attemting.

The cisco phone is running;
Load File: SIP42.9-2-3S

I was wondering if anyone had some default Cisco IP phone config files that i could change and place in my TFTP server and give it a shot.

Thanks in advance
