Title: Teleworker - free softphone for Mitel 3300

Hi there mi friends,

My manager wants a solution so he can work at home and still be reach trough the Mitel 3300 ICP.
Is there a solution like Mitel softphone that i can program on a laptop and build a vpn connection to the voice network ?

Yep.
I've used Bria for this.  There is a free Softphone version.  You can get it here. (http://www.counterpath.com/)

Better yet, if you have s Teleworker server you can send him home with a desk phone.

MBG is the best solution, and it's not really that expensive either. For mine you are better to spend the little bit of money and have the solution just work and up and running in an hour, rather than spending 10 hours trying to get a soft phone working over a VPN!

Either way make sure that you put the external hand set in a different zone so that it uses G.729 rather than G.711.
