Dear greater mitel intellect,
We have a mitel 3300 MCD controller. ver. 4.2 sp2 pr1.
One of our DNI phones has been losing it's call forwarding programming. Call forwarding is accomplished on the set by entering in a feature access code + system speed call number, which points to a cell phone. After call forwarding has been enabled, a softkey is activated - indicating that the programming has been accepted on the device.
Are there logs in the 3300 that'll show my feature access code or softkey activation/deactivation behavior?
Thanks for taking a look see :)

No logs.
Are you also using UCA or MS Office Communicator?

Hello Ralph,
Thanks so much for the reply :)
Regrettably, we are not using mitel UCA or communicator. But thank you for the suggestions - I'll look into these products.
Hmm...any other idea on how i can gather data regarding the feature access code being activated/deactivated/failing?
Thanks again.

Is your system rebooting overnight? That shouldn't make a difference but worth looking at.

BTW: I've seen this where the janitor was using a phone overnight. He would turn off the forwarding.
Check the smdr logs to see if a call was made/accepted from that phone after it loses it forwarding.

What is your code for canceling call forwarding?
I have had people dial the code to block caller id and it was the came code to do something on the PBX I think turn on the headset or something like that.
