Title: Trunk is not permited
Post by: edmir on March 23, 2012, 05:42:08 AM
Hello to all,
I am very new in Mitel PBX, I used asterisk in many variants before.
My problem is that I can not call outside using trunk from SIP phone and DECT phone.
I think problem is some permision but I really can not find where is it.
From phone 5330 Minet everything works OK.
As  trunk I use one analog line from Panasonic PBX. Settings for SIP phones and 5330 are same as I can notice.
If someone can help I will very appreciate it.

What is the error you're getting when you try to dial out on the trunk?

There are a couple of things to look at first.
1- Be sure the Class Of Restriction (COR) is the same for the SIP phone as it is the 5330 phones (http://www.mitelforums.com/store/mitel-5330.php).
2- Be sure the Class of Service is the same.

Those two items as the most common areas of failure.

You may have to do a Wireshark capture of the Xlite trying to make a call.
Perhaps someone here can take a look at the capture and see why it's failing.

Make sure you have 'allow trunk calls over DPNSS' in your class of service.
