Title: Software Upgrade from Rel 9.0 to MCD 4.1

Hi there all Mitel friends.
I have to upgrade one Mitel 3300 Cxi from Rel 9.0 to MCD 4.1.
I understand that i have to upgarde the system first to MCD4.0 and then from MCD 4.0 to MCD 4.1.

Can some one help me out how to upgrade the system without losing the license and the current configurations ?

Are you a Mitel vendor with access to the AMC? If so, Mitel has documented these procedures pretty thoroughly.

The reason you have to go to MCD 4.0 first is that you have to migrate the DB to Common Data Distribution that is required in MCD 4.1 +. It isn't difficult, use the help files to follow the pre-migration checklist and you shouldn't have any problems.
