Title: Mitel 3300 Trunk issue
Post by: MitelUK2010 on March 19, 2012, 05:34:10 PM
I have an issue with some trunks -

Inbound calls come in over a dpnss link, outbound on a qsig. If I try and re route always the main number to an external destination in night service, which goes out over the qsig, it won't work. The call seems to go back out the dpnss for some reason.

Any clues?

There might be a need for a CCS trace or something similar to see why this might be happening. Sounds a little odd, but there must be a reason for it!

what about in day service? Is the COR/COS of the trunks different for day and night? What is 'dpnss/qsig diversion enabled' set t in system options?

Check the COR of the originating trunk.  It needs a COR that allows it to dial our via the qsig ARS (http://www.mitelforums.com/articles/mitel_ars_programming.php) route.
Then check the COS.  Be sure it's set to allow public network to public network connections.

Thanks for response. Turned out to be qsig diversion in system options
