Title: Mitel "Embedded UM"?!

Hi all,

We're at 5.0 SP1.  I just noticed new section called "Embedded UM" on "VM Mailboxes" form.  It looks like we can configure IMAP sync of voicemail messages.   :D

Didn't found a place where we can configure an IMAP server.  Does anyone have more details on this new feature? Nothing in Mitel documentation.

Whoa!  Never seen that before you pointed it out.  Nothing in training either.
Looks like I'll have to play..

oo that's interested.

I wonder if they installed an IMAP Server Service on the 3300??

Hmm that's interesting. Nothing in the notes that I've read, or in the MCD 5.0 training either.

It's there though, so might as well have a play with it!

I did some research about this feature.

By analyzing HTML of ESM, there is 2 new forms called "Embedded UM Settings" and "Embedded UM User Config" under "Voice Mail".  They are hidden and I don't know how to activate them.   :(

I wonder if they are there in prep for being made active in the next SP or something? It seems a bit strange that they would have it there but not mention it in any doco.
