Title: Self Generated Certs for MAS?

Is it possible to upload a self generated certificate for the MAS?  Or do you have to buy a cert from a vendor? 

Also, anyone in Washington DC attempt to run this on the MAS.  The program rejects DC, D.C. and District of Columbia as a state or locality.
