Is there a way to block the number you are outpulsing on demand on a PRI? I have a customer that has one employee that wishes to sometimes block his CLID on outbound calls. I thought maybe I could set up a single line appearance on his phone and setup CPN sub of random numbers to outpulse (their PSTN provider actually allows this to my amazement) but that didn't work as it follows the prime number of the phone you dial from not the appearance.
Any ideas?

Somewhere in the back of my mind I'm thinking I saw an option to set up the phones to display a different CLID on non-prime keys.
I looked in COS but didn't find it.
Maybe someone else has seen it.

Here in the UK we can insert a 141 in front if the dialling number to withold outgoing cli. Is there no such feature in the US?

Not that I'm aware of but I've been wrong before.

Just in case anyone is looking for the info in the future, here in Australia it is 1831 before you dial the number to block your CLI.

This is starting to look like something we should document a bit better.
So if you know how to block CLID where you're at let us know here and I'll see about putting something together.

Should probably add that 1832 is the inverse and unblocks CLI. :)
