Title: external caller Name/Number Display

I am facing a problem of external caller Name / Number display on the forwarded calls.

When my mitel phone number is forwarded to an external number ( for example: my cell phone ) and i receive a call from an external number it does not display the caller's name/number instead it show our datacenter phone number.
But if i receive call from the internal phone system it display the number of the cell phone.

Please let me know what configuration i am missing....

Look at the ISDN protocol and see if "Replace External CLID" is check.  If yes, un-check it.

But...

1 - Be aware, when you change this it will restart your trunks.
2 - Your carrier may block the call when you do this because the call will say that it's coming from a number you don't own.

Thanks you very much for prompt response....

We are using SIP and i found these setting for the sip.

I switched all the option but still not able to get the number.

Observation was, for one of the result, call does not get forwarded, but if i unforward the call i do received the call.

Is it possible that network provider is blocking the outgoing of the third party number.

If so, what changes should i ask them to do.

You will see a lot of times in SIP that the carrier will only allow public passthrough as by using diverting you are changing the FROM and they will reject the invite or tear it down. That should send the number unless they are rejecting that as well. Do you get CID if you forward to another internal extension?

Currently working with the provider will update you once i get something new.
