I have an issue where the box that allows you to intergrate uce with outlook was not ticked ( left at default ) when it was installed, I now don't have the option for outlook under the lookup tab and cannot get it back despite installing it many times. Any idea's ???

Go to Add/remove programs (Win7: Programs and Features) in Control Panel. Find Mitel UC Express, click on it, and hit Change. In there you can click Repair and then go through the options again to install those missing features.

OK worth a try, will let you know if it works, although suspect as I have already installed and uninstalled it this probably wont make a diffrence but worth a try.
Have you actually tried this and got the option to intergrate with outlook offered again ??

If you are using 64 bit office you won't get this option.
-
Sorry smarbar can you elaborate as it is 64 bit? ( hope I spelt that right )

If you are using 64-bit Outlook, it wont work. It's not supported. 64 Bit windows is okay, but has to be a 32-bit version of Outlook.
Also make sure you have outlook selected in the options on the drop down bar.

Sorry, not sure how to tell the difference, customer is using 64 bit windows 7 with Outlook 2010 which is supported in latest release according to ingenious software who make product.

If you go to File -> Help within Outlook 2010, in the right most pane, it will show you the version of Outlook, ex 14.0.6106.5005 (32-bit). If it says (64-bit), then your computer is running Windows 64 and Outlook 64-bit. Outlook 2010 32-bit is supported, 64-bit is not.
64-Bit Outlook would take advantage of the 64-bit nature of the operating system, and allow for larger memory access, as well as other features. However, 32 bit is the more traditional version, for which most software was originally written for that's more than 5 years old. Seems software companies are just now starting to roll out 64-bit compatible software.
