Title: Hotdesking on a 5312

Hi,

I would like to setup hotdesking between 5312 units.  Everything is fine with the programing but there are no soft keys to press for the hotdesk key?  Even when I use the feature access code, I then get past the hotdesk button problem but I am then presented with a login button that needs to be presented to go to the next screen.  Any ideas on how to make this work?

After you enter your FAC select login, enter your hotdesk number followed by #, then enter your hotdesk pin followed by #. You should then be logged into the hotdesk account.

Howdy,

That will work once you get past the login (I tried it on a 5224).  On the 5312, on the screen it says login, no soft key to push to confirm.  Pound and star don't work at this screen.

Hope that makes sense.

This is the process from the tech docs:

1 - Dial the Hot Desking Login access code.
2 - Press *.
3 - Enter your Hot Desk User Extension Number.
4 - Press #.
5 - Enter your User PIN.
6 - Press #.

If the login process is not working then make sure the COS of the phone has hotdesking enabled.

Thanks.  It was in the wrong class of service.  Everything is working as you described.
