Does anyone know of any software (free or at least free trial) that i can use to turn the SMDR records into proper billing for customers. I would like to be able to import a txt file and then generate extension reports from it. I found a post going back to 2008, but a lot has changed since then. We tend to use the 'extension level billing' from the service provider but it's not ideal.

Prairiefyre?? not heard of it but i'll take a look.
just after a something that i can try for free to make sure it works ok with a view to putting a business case together to purchase a full version.

PrairieFyre is a Call Accounting and Reporting system that allows you to report on your SMDR and ACD data coming from your Mitel PBX.  You can view it in Real-Time or historically report on it and export to Excel/PDF documents.

Your Mitel VAR should be able to get you a demo license for PrairieFyre.
