Title: Filezilla Server set up for Mitel
Post by: ralph on May 27, 2011, 08:03:42 AM
Following another forum (sorry Chak) one of the Mitel techs there came up with a doc on how to set up filezilla on your laptop for use with the 3300.
It was actually pretty good along with some tips on how to set up for multiple versions of software.
He gave me permission to reprint.
Heres the link:Filezilla Server Setup (http://www.mitelforums.com/articles/3300/filezilla.php)

Ralph,

Is there anyway you can re-post this information? I am actually trying to set up an FTP to upgrade some of my boxes, and basic information/guide would be most excellent. I see that this post is OLD and the link is no longer valid. Please help if you can.

Gene :)

Latest version of MiVoice Border Gateway has integrated FTP server, just for anyone who hasn't seen it yet. It's pretty slick for storing upgrades as it maintains version numbers as well.

I have been using Filezilla setup like this for a long time (5+ years), with separate login credentials for each version, it works extremely well. I highly recommend this solution and all of our technicians are doing it this way now.
