Can anyone clarify if the uc mobile app would incurr additional data charges when roaming?
-
The app uses the data so if your plan charges for roaming then yes.

Thanks, so if you had an unlimited data plan then you would incur no additional charge. Reason I ask is that il be working overseas along with some of my colleagues for a substantial length of time, the uc client would overcome the international calling charges

Where is "overseas" for you?

Worldwide, I'm based in the UK.
-
Yes it would, as would UCA for Blackberry or Android

Currently, none of the UCA mobile clients support softphone. The rest of the features on the clients require data network (Wifi/Cellular). However, if you place calls via the mobile then you'll use your mobile minutes (or roaming if you are on a different cellular network).
