A customer of mine wants to change what address shows up in email notifications.
Currently is show conference@quickconf.domain.com
They would like it to show conference@domain.com
I'm thinking this cant be done but wanted to bounce it off of others 1st.

I didnt think it could be done either as its assigned to it when you build it. Could be wrong though.

The primary email address of the user is what is sent when sending out email notifications for an audio audio/web conference. Just change the primary email address and this will do it for you. ***please note this will also affect nupoint emails so you will need to work throught his if your using awc/nupoint on a mas.
Hope this helps.

A little more detail:
When a users reserved conference expires, the user gets an email from "conference.quickconf.<domain>.com".
So the email doesn't come from the users QC account but from the server itself.
The users Outlook then reports it as a phishing attempt.

I'd guess that the LAN doesn't have a reverse lookup address for the IP of the QC server. Might be an easy way to fix the phishing warning.
Not sure about this as the criteria Microsoft uses to flag messages is far from published for obvious reasons.

I tried to open a ticket with Mitel based on customers request.
Didn't know this but the QC is EOL. Can't open a ticket at all.
There was an upgrade special going on with Mitel where customers with QC could upgrade to AWC pretty inexpensively but that ended in Jan.
Bummer.

That is a bummer - QC was decent and cheap. Althought AWC isn't anything to laugh at - very nice for small to medium business.
The news for me is I only have one QC out there and they are upgrading(?) to Cisco systems due to some intense contact center needs.
