Hey all,
Does anyone have experience with transferring calls from a 3rd party IVR system to MiVB? Currently our customer has a Dialogic IVR system. The IVR system is supposed to transfer to ring group 2211 but when it transfers it routes back to the IVR menu prompt after being on hold for transfer for about 10 seconds. It never makes it to MiVB.
MiVB has IVR huntgroup with three FXS Analog members. Calls from MiVB to the IVR route just fine, coming back into MiVB from the IVR is the issue.
According to the technician who supports the IVR they are using the following characters to try to route calls via DTMF: &,,,2211
We've tried using 2211 instead, but no luck there. I've gone through COS on the IVR hunt group members and the ring group it's supposed to go to, but I can't get it to work. We were thinking about adding a flashhook in the IVR DTMF string, but I'm such a novice at DTMF stuff that I'm not sure how to do that.

Are these sip extensions connected to the IVR? I would assume the & represents a switchhook flash followed by some pause before dialing. Have you tried any emulation of the process via a buttset?

Not sip, they are analog extensions. We haven't tried a buttset yet, but the IVR tech did go onsite and connected an analog phone to the FXS port that the IVR connects to and he was able to call to 2211.

So, it should be when having answered a call on an analog extension and trying to transfer, hookflash dial extension number, remain on line for supervised transfer or hang up for blind. Might look at ONS/OPS Circuit Descriptors for hookswitch timing and verify COS but would assume they should be good.
Certainly verifying the process with a buttset or 2500 set should isolate the issue.
