Mitel 6940W SIP Mode - No Dial Tone on Bluetooth Handset

I have a 6940W and the bluetooth handset is paired and I have even tried a second working one and there is no audio coming through the handset on lifting it off the hook switch.

I have also tried a convential wired one and it's the same, also the audio settings are set to speaker rather than headset, I'm starting to worry now that the hook switch may be faulty, it didn't have a dial tone in original MiNET mode either, when lifting the handset the phone doesn't react at all.

Any thoughts would be appreciated, many thanks, James.

Well, pressing/depressing the hook switch should at least show a change in the screen prompt... so if that doesn't work, then you might be right that it is faulty.

Yeah that's what I thought, I've sent it back to the supplier and I'm awaiting a replacement, hopefuully that one will work, I did try 3 different versions of SIP firmware, the phone worked on speakerphone and headset but no joy with the handset.
