Title: Issues with Softphone on iPhone
Post by: Germs on January 23, 2024, 04:37:07 AM
Hi

i am using iPhone iOS Version 17.3 for a while now. I've had issues that Notifications and Calls are not displayed anymore , UNLESS i have the MICOLLAB App open and the iPhone not on Standby.

I thought it was due to a beta version . Now that the official version is out , i still have the same issues. On version 17.2 it worked flawless.

Does anyone have the same issues or know how to get this solved ?

Thanks

Germs

I too have been seeing this on iPhones. What version of MiCollab are you on?

Check the Push Notification logs in the MiCollab server manager. Once logged in to server-manager, go to Administration -> View Log Files, and display the uc_server/pushnotif.log log. You should see log messages like this that indicate MiCollab is sending out a push notification to a user that there's an incoming call:

Quote
[MbusDispatcher] INFO  com.mitel.pushnotif.mbus.PushNotifMbusCallback - Recieved notification, event = call

If you're not seeing those, you can try re-starting the "PUSH_NOTIF" module in MiCollab Client Service -> Perform Diagnostics -> Modules. If that doesn't change anything, you'll need to get a ticket open with Mitel support.

Hi, is the micollab interconnected to the MXONE?
Which happened to me too and I solved it. obviously with another version on the iPhone

try this command on the mxone and see if there is a connection

netstat -ano|grep ":8882"

You can check the wsp module to see what happens. Get into SSH and use a grep command on /opt/intertel/wsp.log

Also I think you already know that upgrading to 17.4+ will solve the issue.
