I have a ring group that is almost full but I cannot figure out how to login to it! It doesn't overflow to a mailbox and the ring group extension doesn't exist in MiCollab. I can browse to the mailbox in NuPoint but there is no login information for me to use, only a passcode. Please guide these blind eyes to the login name for the ring group mailbox

Is there an MWI key appearance for the mailbox? Since you can't have an MWI against a group number, the MWI is probably the mailbox number, and the ring group DN is an alternate extension for that mailbox.

Do you need to log in online to get the voicemails, or just be able to check them?

I need to delete them since the mailbox is almost full, its a voicemail that points to our PSA board. Once the voicemail is a day old it can be deleted. Another alternative is to just set some sort of retention rule that can clear this out once a week or something?

There's lots of things you can do to manage this, but you need to locate the mailbox first. I have a feeling the ring group number is an alternate extension for another mailbox. As I mentioned before, if there's an MWI appearance for the mailbox, try that for the mailbox number. Otherwise you'll have to SSH in, go into the NuPoint text console (type "console" from an SSH session to the MiCollab server), capture a mailbox dump report and search for your known number.

We are using NuPoint, and I have found the mailbox in NuPoint but there doesn't seem to be any login info. It has an alternate extension, and I logged into the mailbox to check it out but there were no voicemail in there

Make sure that alternate extension doesn't also have it's own mailbox. If so it will create issues for you.

I was able to clear out the mailbox by applying a Limits class of service that removes voicemails after a time period.. I never was able to login to the voicemail box though :/

How are you trying to log in? Via TUI or the web portal?

The mailbox needs to be associated with a MiCollab user with a valid user ID and password. Once that's in place, you should be able to log in to the MiCollab user portal and see the mailbox & manage the messages.
