Title: 3300 icp prefured outgoing line
Post by: dexs345 on January 11, 2011, 04:11:02 AM
hello,

I have a mitel 3300 icp with 2 analog lines.... (over powered for basic configuration they want)

They have 2 phones. 6000 and 3000.

They want ext 6000 to dial out over the 1st line and they want ext 3000 to dial out over the 2nd line.

Currently 6000 is dialing out over the correct line however 3000 isnt.

How would i set the config so that when ext 3000 dials 9 for a line it automatically goes out over line 2 rather than line1?

A way forward with this wold be using COR in a way whereby 3000 isn't allowed to use line 1. Point to look at is the situation whereby the line is busy with an incoming call, does the phone be not allowed to use the other line?

Second option is using an other digit for outside connectivity for one of the two.

Tenanting would work as well as making the line a DTS key.

Can you use Direct Trunk Select (DTS) to work like a key system - like seeing if the line is in use?

ok so this seems to be working better using buttons.
