I was about to purchase a refurbished PolyCom IP 7000 but realized it needs to sit directly on the Mitel VLAN, since it can't understand the VLAN tagging from the DHCP server.
I'd like a PoE conf phone that also has an open port for laptops to connect to.
What's the best IP conference phone to use?

I use the Polycom 7000 without a problem.
But then, all of my voice device aren't tagged either.
I don't think anything other than a Mitel will understand the Mitel options.

We use the Yealink CP9xx series without issue, available in wired, wireless DECT, or WiFi models... Simple SIP device with excellent sound quality, and a fraction of the cost of Polycom. There are usually only a few of these on any one premise, so we hard code the VLANs in most cases. You are going to have to web in and manually provision them anyway, might as well just set the VLAN fixed as well. They do support DHCP options for that too, but not the same DHCP options as Mitel.

@acejavelin Do you have a config doc for this? I need to configure a Yealink CP935W on a new MiVB and am unable to locate any config docs in the Mitel Knowledge Management Center or Doc Center. Specifically, MiVB SIP Device Capability settings are what I am looking for.
