I've had about 20% of my 5340e's exhibit a problem that I characterized as a "washed-out" LCD display in another post on this forum.
Having a maintenance agreement, my vendor has agreed to supply me with phones to replace them. Upon receiving the phones, however, I discover that they're 5340's, not 5340e.
The biggest difference I see is that the 5340 NICs are 100Mb, where the 5340e's are 1 Gb.
Are there any other differences?
Will this adversely impact performance of the rest of my system?
Would you accept these as replacements?
Thanks for your time.

No, the phones are essentially identical except one has gigabit Ethernet, and the other one has 100 megabit Ethernet. If you are not using network pass-through (the PC port) on the phones, it should be fine. However, if you have a maintenance agreement that specifics they would replace them, it should be like for like... I would not accept a 5340 in place of a 5340e.
