Title: Using a headset doesnt allow system hold
Post by: rick on March 16, 2022, 04:49:31 PM
I have a customer with a 5360 reception phone.
They have 3 analogue trunk lines 9Loop Start) with 3 Trunk 'line' buttons for the lines programmed on all phones
She switches between using the phone handset and a headset quite often.
She says that when she answers a call on the phone handset and puts it on 'Hold' it is able to be picked up at a different extension by pressing the relevant flashing line button(System Hold)
But if she answers the phone using the headset and presses the same hold button, it cant be picked up by another extension! I dont know why using a headset should make a difference to the system hold.
You can see on the attached screenshot that the hold key is a system hold!
Any ideas?
Thanks

Using a headset should not matter in this case... Might be worth it to go onsite and verify this.

Yeah, that's what I thought. ILl maybe pop up there tomorrow or Friday to see what's happening (Probably PICNIP - Problem In Chair, Not In Phone)  :)
