Hello to you all,
I am coming to you because I am currently stuck in the administration of our mitel 5000 mivoice.
At the end of December a new short phone number was introduced in France to reach an organisation.
The problem is the following:
On the mitel-administered extensions we get directly the wrong number.
I searched the rights but found nothing.
I just want to allow a user to dial this number.
Do you have any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

grenobleag,
What exactly are you trying to dial?
Is this for Inbound Calls or Outbound Calls?
Thanks,
TE

Hi,
Thank you very much for your reply
The user needs to make an external call to the short phone number, this number is free but impossible to reach from the Phones

Is this a Mitel Mivoice Office 250 (the old Intertel 5000) or a Mitel 5000 (Astra) platform?
Regardless, you would have to have the routing built to send it to your carrier... possibly requiring an external access code and the number, but your ARS or call routing needs to know how to route that call. We would need you to clarify the platform and how the call is routed, possibly the specific digits dialed as well.

Hello to you,
For the model it is a Mitel 5000 (Astra) platform.
To dial an external number we add a zero from the IP phone.
I'm going through the web admin to try to understand how the solution works.
