Title: Text based conditioning on incoming SMS Messages on Your Site Explorer
Post by: abinpbiju on October 14, 2021, 02:37:14 PM
We have a SMS Short Code implemented inside Mitel Your Site Explorer. Is there any way we can do a text based analysis/text based conditioning on each SMS Messages we receive and trigger a  preset reply back to to the user?

Let's say If the user send a message/keyword called "HELP" this should trigger a message that is pre-configured inside Mitel Your Site Explorer?

We are using Your Site Explorer Version 9.2.1.0

Any feedback/help is much appreciated. Thank you

I'm not sure how it's work, I'm just thinking out loud.
Under SMS Media Server> Inbound Routing, there is a workflow. You can add a "SMS" tool in it and set some variables for that. If you could be able to match those variables with, for example the world "Help", then you can definitely be able to pass that to a "Web Service" under "Execute" tool and send them what ever you want.
Just check that and let me know.
Thanks
