Title: Acceptable version gap between server and Micollab client?
Post by: divadiow on August 25, 2021, 03:54:51 AM
Hello.

Is there a maximum server/micollab client version mismatch that's acceptable when depoying the latest Micollab MSI?

For example, I have server version 9.2.0.202 and have deplyed micollab 9.2.153. Can we use 9.3 without any issues? Could we use 9.4 if one is released?

I've used 9.3 client with 9.1 servers before with no issues.

Check the release notes - they usually specify what version has been tested or approved.
Can find these in the KMS or next to the download article in the Software Download Center.

Depends on the Server Type but the versions supported are listed on page 13.

thanks both

We dont have access to the support center ourselves, we have to go through a vendor, and getting info out of them is a slow painful process.

I cannot find publicly available release notes. only these https://www.mitel.com/en-gb/document-center/applications/collaboration/micollab/micollab-client
