Title: SIP Trunk Down
Post by: borogerson on August 14, 2021, 03:45:39 PM
I had to move the customers mitel services to a new data center and change IP's of all systems.   Everything looks good on the trunk config,  all my DNS tests work and we are able to receive calls but the PBX shows the trunk is out of service so I won't be able to make outbound calls.

PBX version is 7.0,  MBG Version is 9.2.

did you change the sip proxy on mivb and fix up mbg's icp addresses?

we are using host names and I can ping the host name from the PBX and get a DNS resolution and a reply to my ping

I have had issues before with option keepalives not being responded to or reaching.  Get a signalling trace off the MBG and take a look

is the MBG being used as an internet gateway for other hosts, mivb and micollab, to reach the internet? there's a race condition in msl that can occur if one of those sends a sip packet before mbg can come up and send's it's OPTIONs (assume you have that enabled for the trunk).

I turn off the keep alive as I think the sip peer being peroxided should do the same. Dilkie correct me if I am wrong
