I completed a new install and added the Sys Admin and DB software to the customer PC so we can gain access remotely using their local PC.
When I run the software I get the following error -
The Mitel System Administration and diagnostics version (6.3.102.0) installed on this pc does not support this DB programming version. Please upgrade your Mitel System Administration and diagnostics to version 6.3.104 .0 or greater
However I HAVE 6.3.9.104 installed (I added the plug in for this) but it still doesn't work. See the attached screenshots showing what I see.
Can anyone help with this please?

It clearly shows that you are running 6.3.102.0 of System Administration and Diagnostics in the second picture; look at the top.
There are two version numbers associated with what you are doing.
1. System Administration and Diagnostics
2. DB Programming Version
The number that you see at the top is the System Administration and Diagnostics Version and it shows 6.3.102.0, but in the installed components box you have a version of DB Programming that is higher 6.3.104.0; which isn't allowed.
Go to Mitel's Download Center and get the latest Version of System Administration and Diagnostics software [MiVoice_Office_250_6_3_SP_5_GA_{Country}.zip] and install it over what you currently have and your problem will be solved.
In case you didn't know here are the latest versions and numbers.
6.3 SP5 = 6.3.9.108 <- I would use this one
6.3 SP4 = 6.3.8.105
6.3 SP3 = 6.3.7.99
6.3 SP2 = 6.3.7.78
6.3 SP1 = 6.3.7.58
You may also want to upgrade their system to the latest version as well.

I am a newbe performing greenfield install of Office 250. I had the same issue as Rick and was due to using a newer version of Sys Admin & Diag software.
Once I un-installed "6_3_106_0-SysAd_6_3_9_106-DBP-64bit.exe" and installed "6_3_102_0-SysAd_6_3_9_102-DBP-64bit.exe"
Once I did this I was able get to the System Account - DB Programming login screen but not sure where do you get the username password for this?
Is there a specific document that I should be following to perform Licensing the HX Controller?

Thanks for the heads up, but that is what I already did!
I had already downloaded the version MiVoice_Office_250_6_3_SP_5_GA_{Country}.zip and inside the two pieces of software are numbered differently
The dbp is 102 and the system is 108. See screenshots.
On my pc I have the same set up as the customer PC ( with a few added plug ins)- see 3rd screenshot - but my pc will connect and their PC wont. It makes no sense.

Is the customer pc and hx controller on the same network subnet?

According to your original message the issue seemed pretty obvious as to what was going on, but now it is now so clear cut.
It seems that it may be best to delete the software and start over again as it may have had an issue with the installation.

I assume you mean to delete the DB the software on the customer PC and not the PBX itself?
