Title: MiVB Telephone Directory and Micollab
Post by: richmckevitt on June 29, 2021, 04:32:54 AM
Hi - I am running Micollab 9.2.0.104-01 & MiVB Release level: 9.1 SP2. One thing that would be really handy is for an agent using Micollab to be able to see/search the Telephone Directory in MiVB. When doing a Micollab search it will show you other users with exts but it does not show you when searching for a name against a speedcall for example although it is in the Telephone Directory. Is there any way of setting this up

Cheers for the help as always

Rich

Micollab does not show entries from the MiVB directory.
If your MiCollab is connected to AD create an AD user/contact and save the user in Micollab as a contact, or create a phantom extension in micollab with the speed dial.
When I researched this I was also hoping for a better answer...

Cheers for the reply and apologies for delayed response.  Typical Mitel really where they make simple things difficult!

You can aleays create an entry in MiCollab and with newer version assign a phantom number. In the past, I assigned other telephone. Either should provide an entry that may appear as gray, but should be dialable.
