Hi
we have 4 nos mivoice 400 connected on sip trunk with Mxone 7.3 .
Mxone 7.3 is connected with Alcatel OXE on sip trunk .
Mxone acts as a transit between all the 4 nos Mivoice 400 and Alcatel
3 nos Mivoice 400 are version 4.1
1 nos Mivoice 400 is version 6.2
call flow
1. users in Mivoice 400 ( ver 6.2 ) able to speak to users in Alcatel and vice versa .
2. users in Mivoice 400 ( ver 4.1 ) are unable to establish calls with alcatel users and vice versa .
3. users in Mivoice 400 ( ver 4.1 ) are able to connect with users in Mivoice 400 ( ver 6.2 ) and vice versa .
4. users in Mivoice 400 ( ver 4.1 ) and Mivoice 400 ( ver 6.2 ) are able to connect with users in Mxone and vice versa .
5. users in Mxone are able to connect with users in Alcatel and vice versa
only in call flow scenario - 2 we are facing problem . is it because Mivoice 400 is on version 4.1
-
so is it:
400(x4)-------->MX------->Alcatel?
What does your SIP trace say for the failed calls?
Can the 400 call the MX-ONE in case 2?

Hi
it was solved when alcatel allowed all the codecs.
if alcatel allows only G.729 then the call is not established
other observation is we have mivoice 400 ver 4.1 and Mivoice 400 ver 6.2 .
when alcatel allows only G.729 then call is established from Mivoice 400 ver 6.2 , but no calls are possible from Mivoice 400 ver 4.1.

Thanks for updating the thread and sharing what you have found to work.

Thanks for the update.
I'm going to assume it's because you don't need G729 licenses with 6.2 as you do with 4.1 and they probably weren't purchased.
