Title: Mitel 5340e using *69 on telephone

Hello where do this as this is a feature to block your number I am not sure as when I press button for outgoing calls i get a message after * digit ignored.

please help :-\

That is a feature for your telephone company phone lines, not the Mitel system. You would need to do this with an analog trunk by having a line button, accessing the line directly, then dialing manually... Unusual for a Mitel MiVO 250 system to be setup this way.

Amy,

If you press * after your Outgoing Access of 8 it will just hang up the call as * is the cancel feature key.

The only way to get that to work is through DB Programming Software and setting it up within the Facility Group to add that to all calls going out that Facility Group; unless you can direct access a line like Acejavelin stated earlier.

I’ve used a trunk group key to get around this.

If you go with the Trunk Key or Trunk Group Key then make sure that your phone isn't setup for ARS Only or it will fail.
