Title: Non-MBG Servers for Teleworker Connections
Post by: ralph on January 07, 2021, 07:49:25 AM
I have an application that isn't Mitel related.   I need to connect SIP devices as Teleworker devices.
I know some of you are hosted solutions providers.  I hoping that perhaps someone may have recommendations for a MBG type server that has worked for you.  Both hardware and software only solutions are fine but I would prefer a software solutions.

Any suggestions?

Several manufacturer's phones support OpenVPN natively. Fanvil, Sangoma, and ClearlyIP I think can do this. So, set up an OpenVPN server and the phones can connect through that.

Thanks Lundah, but unfortunately our product doesn't.

I've been trying to remember what SBC we used years ago.  Last night I remembered. It was Ingate.  That's sort of what I'm looking for.

Ralph,

Have you looked at the Sangoma SBC that is normally used for Asterisk [FreePBX] installations that require it?

Sangoma SBC (https://www.sangoma.com/voip-security/session-border-controllers/)

Thanks,

TE

I haven't.  Thanks T.E.   I'll pass that along.

Right now we're testing pfSense.
