Title: 69xx DECT headset cal control button
Post by: dg on December 21, 2020, 01:25:10 PM
Hi folks. Just bought my first 6940 DECT headset (51305332). Seems to be paired already and audio works, but I can't figure out how to make the center button do anything.
I can hear the call ringing in the headset, but pushing the button does not answer.

Is there some programming to make that work? Could it be confused about which line to answer? (I wouldn't think so...)

The only way I can seem to initiate a headset call is with the speaker/headset button on the set. Kinda defeats the point of having the call ring in your ear if you can't answer...

Any pointers are greatly appreciated.

two thing to check :

1 : in the phone : advance configuration ( password 73738) --> audio --> audio path : set to headset.

2 :check in the user COS :

Integrated DECT High Power – (set to NO)
Integrated DECT Wideband – (set to NO)
Head Set Switch Mute" - (Set to No)

It says administrator access denied when I hit Advanced.
Having said that, there is an audio setting (I have status, diagnostics, audio, and display) and that audio path is set to headset.

Thanks!

Cool, thanks. That seems to have done something.
How are the high power and wideband options related?

Thanks again,
