Where do I go to setup this needed configuration? MiCollab itself works great but we would like to utilize the softphone and I am not sure how or where to go to set this up. Any help is appreciated.
-
You have to configure a UC endpoint in MiCollab for the user and a Teleworker (checkbox in configuration). You have to check the deployment profile if softphone is checked and if the configuration is OK. Re-deploy the client with the softphone and it should be working.
-
OK. I have all this setup already. Under the user in MiCollab Server then under Phones tab the Softphone has "Enable SIP Softphone for PC Client" which is unchecked. I tried to check box but it is grayed out. Any way to check this box?
-
Are you using an MBG to proxy the MiCollab client traffic from outside the LAN?
-
No as we are using MiCollab on the lan only and not outside of it.
-
Ensure that your MiCollab client deployment profile has a valid resolvable server defined in the "Config download host" field. This should be your MiCollab server. *See attachment

Okay. I set this up like you suggested. I redeployed myself but it still says no configuration for softphone in MiCollab. Do I need to do a Sync or something first?
-
I myself make sure there is only one deployment per user. If softphone, let the phone page setting do this and make sure under client that it is set to not deploy. I also do not have ehdu set to deploy in the client welcome setting
-
Okay so I only have one user in deployment and also ehdu is set to "not deploy" Now on phone screen my phone shows a checkbox for "Enable SIP Softphone for MiCollab for PC client" but it is unchecked and grayed out so I am unable to check the box. Any ideas?

In MiCollab server under Users and Services in the MiCollab Client tab, what feature profile do you have set?
-
I have "advanced" as the feature profile. I have everything but console option.
-
If deploying on mobile devices, especially iOS devices, must have teleworker option checked even if not using remoteley.
The deployment profile musty have the MBG username otherwise the softphone will always show no configuration.
-
Yeah that was it! I did not have the username in the MBG. Once I added this I was able to import user and Softphone was available. Thanks so much for your help here.
