Title: Phone system not giving a option for voicemail, just rings and drops

We have a Mitel 5000 running 3.1.2.18 (When connecting with Session manager)

 Recently we have had an issue with delayed voicemails, phones show it immediately, but email takes awhile.. which we where looking at but late yesterday suddenly with no changes it just stopped allowing people to even leave a voicemail.. just rings 4 times and then disconnects

What should I be looking at?

Try rebooting the system? Voicemail is an engine within the system usually. 3.x is ancient me thinks.

Geeze Ancient; a bit extreme don't you think?

Regardless 3.x was created by Inter-Tel not Mitel so I guess you can say that it is a little old.

Anyway, I would look at how much space you have left on your Voice Processor System; is it an External Voice Processor (EM)?

Had a similar issue recently on my Lab Kit at home. Upgrade of the flash card to 1GB and a firmware update to the latest release managed to fix the issue
