Hi
I searched before posting, and only found 1 topic from 2015 regards this. Hopefully the answer has changed since then..
-01:268- 08:00 05-10 M3259 INF EG CP Node 1 Enabled Day Mode
-01:936- 10:05 05-10 M3259 INF EG CP Node 1 Enabled Night Mode
-01:089- 10:25 05-10 M3259 INF EG CP Node 1 Enabled Day Mode
System automatically moves from Night Mode to Day Mode at 8am, this was fine. It's done from MCS and works well. A user then has mistakenly put the system into night mode at 10:05, and I put it back to day mode at 10:25.
This log doesn't show the source of the change request, or extension number. Is there another log that would include that info?
Many Thanks
Mark

markdamen,
The system can only be put into Night Mode by one of three things.
1. A phones designated as an Administrator to the system.
2. An OAI event through a 3rd-Party Program (i.e. MCS)
3. The System Web interface.
In the case of the MCS the server is the one putting it into Night Mode, not a particular user.
In the case of a person it would require an Extension setup as an Administrator; which is typically only one or two phones. You can look under the System > Phone-Related Information > Flags > Administrator.
In the case of the web interface only the Admin account can gain access to it and therefore it is not a particular user.
Thanks,
TE

Yep - the first entry was MCS, the second entry was a user extension, and the 3rd was me using the system web interface - would just be nice if Mitel logged the source of the change to enable easier troubleshooting and diagnosis.
