Title: Nupoint automated attendant recording
Post by: rgardeck on September 23, 2020, 08:41:29 AM
Managers got together and had a professional voice company record an auto attendent menu into a .WAV file.
This menu points out the "press #1 for Sales, etc"

We currently have an auto attendant menu recorded by an employee who simply recorded using her phone.

Does the Nupoint system allow me to upload a wav file to be used at the auto attendance menu recording?

Yes, but it has to be an 8khz U-law encoded file. I use Audacity to convert. Set your project rate to 8000hz (you have to enter that manually), and export as a u-law WAV file.

We are looking into doing professional auto attendants since the ones we record aren't great, and robots are just as bad, if not worse. We found a company that we were thinking of using. Has anyone used them? They are in Canada. Used by a lot of businesses, and supposedly are very affordable. Here they are : https://cohm.com/auto-attendant-recordings-for-business/ They also recommended call back services. Anyone done that before?
