I have a mitel 3300 and recently purchased a UC360 conference room phone. I have the phone programmed as a generic sip device and have 4 multicall lines setup with the prime number. The phone connects and is able to make a call, however I am having trouble making a conference call. If I place caller 1 on hold, and press the second line, I dial the second number, it disconnects call one. If the second call is picked up, I have an option to add to conference. I select add to conference and dial call 1 again, it transfers my call to caller one. now caller 1 and call 2 are on the same call and the 360 is not involved in the call.
Any feedback would be much appreciated
thanks

on a side note, I had a similar issue with another model conference room phone. SO I imagine it is something I did in the programming

Make sure in systel option rhe conference is set to minimum 5.

where would I found the systel option?

where would I found the systel option?
Set all the conference options to 8... No reason not to.
System Properties - System Feature Settings - System Options
- Maximum CO Trunks In A Conference
- Maximum Parties In A Conference
- Maximum Trunks In A Conference

SIP device compatibility - change to 71 (UC devices in default)

SIP device compatibility - change to 71 (UC devices in default)
What's really funny about that is the documentation for older firmware of the 360 (I think 2.1.2) specifically says *not* to use that SIP Device Capability profile; but later versions (2.1.7.1) say to use it.

You will need to specify a SIP divine compatibility profile for any SIP device. Each profile has a ton of different SIP options to change.
I used to copy 71 to 61 (as you can’t edit the ones that have been specifically put together) and disabled prack support (by enabling the "Disable Reliable Provisional Responses" option). Then give them 4 multi line keys and they have always worked.
If you are still having problems you will need to run a pcap so we can see what is going on with the SIP signalling at the time you try to conference.
